The biggest health threat for men isn't heartdisease or cancer.It's the out-of-control stress reactions that cause or worsen those conditions in the first place.
Many articles have been written on how to relax and live a stress free life. In reality, the most dependable way to avoid stress is to get to the source of the problem and root it out before it manifest. You should try to evaluate your life and adjust certain habits that can trigger off stress in your life.
For me, I do not agree that a stress free life is possible, because stress is a response to life challenges. Life without challenges is inevitable. This not withstanding, living a stress free life can be achieved if one is determined.Having said this, below are the 5ways to manage stress in your life.
1. Identify stressors:
This is the most important step of all. You should take 15 minutes out each day to identify what exactly stresses your life daily. What kind of people, activities, business or things that causes stress in your life. Draw a top 10 list and see which of them can be eliminated and for others try to make them less stressful.
2. Cut out unnecessary commitments:
Yes we all have many daily and weekly commitments in our life, for instance commitments related to our family, work, business, religion, hobbies, online activities etc. evaluate each one of them critically by importance and remove the ones that constitute major stress in your life and less important.
3.Disorganization:
I think many are guilty of this. Take out time and plan things in your life. When one is organized, stress seems to be reduced. A chaos environment tends to create more stress.
4. Simplify life:
Simplify your routines, daily tasks and the mass of stuff going on in your life and enjoy a stress free life.
5.Relax during the day:
It is paramount to take out time and rest daily. Learn to massage your body. Drink more water, walk around, chat with happy friends and loved ones. Life doesn’t have to be full of business and productivity always. You should also avoid staying online or on your job for too long so that the work load on you will reduce. If your work requires the internet, stay away from the system and relax or rather go grab some Burger or ice cream to help you relax.
