I SEE NO CHANGES!!
I see the image of Nigeria destroyed for cheap international recognition. I see propaganda on looted funds, political persecution and castigation of eminent men and women who served our fatherland. I see disobedience of court order and desperate bid to turn the country to a one-party state. I see over-rising agitation for the actualization of the sovereign state ofBiafra.
I SEE NO CHANGES!!
I see Nigerians suffer great hardships from fuel scarcity, naira depreciating and unemployment rate rising, SURE-P scrapped with no alternative program. I see government plot to reduce minimum wage and retrench workers.
I see dozens of Nigerians still being killed in the North by Boko Haram. I see the “Bring Back our Girls” Campaign disappear from our television screens; yet “Chibok Girls” are still not found.
I SEE NO CHANGES!!
All I see is the diminishing respect for freedom of speech and human rights with threatened unity of our country.
I see power supply drop, small businesses fold up, stocks and shares crash. I see our country’s treasury account singled and remitted at one per cent commission. I see government ploy to reintroduce toll gates on our roads.
I see confidence lost in the government and in the man brought to head the “change mantra”.
It takes skill to be real. And although it seems heaven sent, the change that we truly desire has not come!
